Job Description Digital Finance Information Specialist
Any UK Location – Hybrid. Full Time 37 hours – Permanent.
We are looking to add a Digital Finance Information Specialist to the team on a permanent full-time basis. You can be based at any of our UK locations.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information Specialist with a focus on Data within the Digital Finance Team.
The Digital Finance team brings together skills and expertise across reporting, forecasting, data and systems. The team’s purpose is to drive a step change in how we operate through offering a range of digital capabilities and services. These services include solution design and delivery, analytics, reporting and data management, and finance applications support. Through working closely with the Finance community and operating in an agile manner, our aim is to release value to the business and reduce current pain points as quickly as possible.
What you will be doing:
This role will use your technical skills to enable the development, test and ongoing support of reporting and planning systems based on the following tools and skills sets:
- HFM, DRM and VBM Finance systems
- Data Warehousing (e.g. SAP BW) / Data Modelling
- Data integration (Fabric / Databricks)
- SAP BW query writing
- Data Security
- Master Data Management
- Working with Finance data and processes
- Customer service skills
- BI Report writing
- Develop or have knowledge on Rolls-Royce IT structures and processes

May also have experience in or keen to develop skills in:
- Microsoft Power BI
- Microsoft Excel
- Visual basic
Who were looking for:
- Have experience in data warehousing and will be keen to further develop these skills.
- Have experience of HFM, DRM and VBM Finance systems
- Be highly customer focused, and agile in responding to customer needs.
- Have experience in operating in a high-performance team and culture
- Be a logical, analytical and innovative mind-set, and be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to meet customer needs quickly.
- Be happy to learn new capabilities on the fly.
- Have an appetite for driving innovation and change across the business.
- Have good communication skills, with a confident and flexible approach, and be able to work to meet tight deadlines.
- Ideally have a good appreciation of finance processes and data
- Ideally have an existing knowledge of RR Business Units
