Digital Growth Manager (Ecommerce / Performance Marketing / Brand Growth)
Location: Stockton-on-Tees / onsite
Salary: £35,000–£40,000
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Overview
An ambitious and fast-growing sports, ecommerce and technology-led business is looking to appoint a Digital Growth Manager to take ownership of its digital marketing function and drive the next phase of commercial growth.
This is far more than a traditional marketing role. You’ll have genuine influence over strategy, execution and future team development, helping shape both the growth of the business and the foundations of a future in-house digital agency. Working directly with founders and senior decision makers, you’ll be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, improving marketing performance and ensuring all digital activity contributes to measurable commercial outcomes.
The role sits at the intersection of ecommerce, performance marketing, brand development, customer acquisition and creative strategy, making it ideal for someone who combines strong commercial thinking with creative instincts and a passion for growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
