Job Title: Digital IC Verification Lead
A UK-based technology company specialising in precision motion solutions using patented Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) actuator technology. Its compact, high-performance systems are widely used in smartphone cameras, wearables, AR/VR devices, haptics, and medical applications worldwide.
Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Digital IC Verification Lead to own verification strategy and sign-off for advanced digital IC products. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role requiring deep technical expertise and the ability to mentor and guide a growing team.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead digital IC verification activities through tape-out and sign-off.
- Develop and enhance Python-based verification environments (non-UVM).
- Ensure high-quality, production-ready IC designs.
- Support verification across IC (silicon) and FPGA (emulation) platforms.
- Own verification coverage, lint, and quality sign-off processes.
- Maintain and improve automated test systems, ensuring timely issue triage.
- Contribute to RTL development and architectural work where appropriate.
- Provide line management and mentor junior engineers.

Required Experience
- 12+ years' hands-on digital IC verification experience.
- Strong Python verification expertise (essential).
- SystemVerilog (SV) experience not VHDL.
- Proven verification sign-off experience for digital ICs.
- Experience improving verification methodologies and processes.
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience.
