Digital Image Assistant

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Digital Image Assistant to join Little Emperors on a three-month fixed-term contract. The primary objective of this role is to ensure every hotel gallery accurately reflects the latest photography and delivers the best possible experience for our members across our platform. Working closely with the marketing team, you will source, review, edit, organise, upload and quality-check hotel imagery while maintaining consistency across the platform. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in digital content, travel or ecommerce.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review and update hotel image galleries across the Little Emperors platform.
  • Select the strongest images based on quality and consistency to best represent each hotel and its facilities, ensuring they adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Source, crop, resize and optimise images to platform specifications.
  • Ensure image quality, consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Organise image assets and maintain clear file naming conventions.
  • Upload and tag images accurately within the CMS.
  • Carry out quality assurance checks to ensure galleries display correctly across desktop and mobile.
  • Liaise with the Head of Brand to prioritise hotels and resolve any missing or inconsistent assets.
  • Track progress against the image backlog and provide regular status updates.
  • Support the marketing team with ad hoc content and image-related tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of digital assets.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and errors.
  • Strong eye for visual presentation, composition and image quality.
  • An interest in photography, digital content or luxury travel.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Able to work independently in a remote environment and manage your time effectively.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or similar image editing software.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Knowledge of image optimisation for digital platforms.
  • Experience in hospitality, travel or digital content through work experience, internships, university projects or personal interests.

Interview Process

The recruitment process will consist of two stages:

Stage 1: An initial interview to discuss your background, interest in the role and suitability for Little Emperors.

Stage 2: A practical image editing assessment, where shortlisted candidates will complete a timed task using a sample hotel image gallery. This exercise is designed to assess image selection, organisation, attention to detail and overall quality of work.
