Location
Based in one of our Scottish office hubs (Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness, or Perth) with 50% office attendance. Salary: £44,000–£65,900 + performance bonus + benefits.

About the Role
Our Offshore Delivery Directorate at SSEN Transmission is expanding! We’re looking for a Digital Information Manager to lead the development and management of digital data and modelling within our large-scale energy framework across Scotland.
As part of this role, you’ll:
- Develop ISO 19650-driven Information Requirements and validate data/information across multiple systems.
- Shape contractual agreements by supporting legal and commercial teams with PQQs, BEP (BIM Execution Plans) and digital integration documentation.
- Reshape project delivery by managing Exchange & Information Requirements (EIR)—ensuring alignment with industry standards, governance policies and business needs.
- Engage directly with contraction, suppliers, and technical teams to resolve queries, ensure real-time data collaboration, integrate systems, and support documentation processes.
- Coordinate digital assets in a Common Data Environment (CDE) in compliance with BS EN ISO 19650 and project needs.
- Lead BIM Coordination teams in model validation, clash detection, and design optimization across multi-disciplinary workstreams.

Your Profile
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven expertise as a Lead BIM Coordinator, BIM, or Information Manager (preferably in major infrastructure projects).
- Experience with BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), or familiarity with other CDE platforms (welcome).
- CAD and 3D/2D modelling proficiency in applications like AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks—with a preference for energy/sector-specific programmes (e.g., converters, substations, overhead lines, cables).
- Geospatial & GIS experience—especially using Esri GIS and Autodesk integrations for data & design management.
- Strong understanding of ISO 19650, UK BIM Framework, and best practices for information management.
- Model coordination, clash detection and federations/handover experience—ideally supported by Navisworks, CIBSE or other coordination tools.
