Digital Information Manager (BIM & Information Governance) | Contract Role

Contract Length: 6-12 months
Location: Hybrid - 3 days in the London office
Day Rate: negotiable - DOE

We're supporting a global organisation that's investing heavily in digital transformation across its EMEA portfolio. As part of this journey, they're looking for an experienced Digital Information Manager to lead the governance, quality and continuous improvement of project information management.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys influencing teams, improving processes and ensuring digital information is trusted, accessible and adds real value throughout the project lifecycle.

Why this role?

Your role will be to strengthen digital information management from project mobilisation through to completion, ensuring project teams, consultants and contractors work to agreed standards and that digital deliverables meet contractual and business requirements.

You'll also help drive innovation through technologies such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Procore, Reality Capture, Power BI and 4D planning.

What you'll be doing

You'll become the go-to expert for digital information management across multiple projects, helping teams work smarter and more collaboratively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with Project Managers, Design Managers and Document Controllers to ensure BIM and digital information requirements are fully embedded.
  • Developing and maintaining Digital Information Management Protocols (DIMP), Information Management Plans and ACC/Procore procedures.
  • Setting up and configuring new projects within Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Procore and other digital platforms.
  • Supporting project mobilisation by establishing robust digital information processes from day one.
  • Acting as the central point of contact for digital information management, providing guidance, troubleshooting and ongoing support.
  • Delivering training, playbooks and upskilling sessions to project teams and supply chain partners.
  • Monitoring compliance with digital information management protocols and contractual BIM requirements.
  • Supporting collaborative information exchange across consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
  • Producing programme-level reporting across information management systems, BIM platforms, clash detection and reality capture technologies.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

You'll likely have experience in:

  • Digital Information Management or BIM Management within construction, infrastructure or mission-critical projects.
  • Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Procore or similar Common Data Environments.
  • Information Management Plans (IMP), Digital Information Management Protocols (DIMP) and ISO 19650 principles.
  • BIM governance, quality assurance and compliance.
  • Working with multidisciplinary design and construction teams.
  • Document control, digital workflows and information governance.
  • Reporting, analytics and dashboard development using Power BI or similar tools.
  • Driving process improvement and supporting digital transformation initiatives.
