Digital Marketing & Communications Lead (UK / EU Remote)

Digital Marketing Executive

Full-Time, Remote Role

At MedBoard, we are seeking a full-time digital marketing executive to manage all digital activities, drive brand communications, and grow our SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will work to elevate our product and ensure a stellar retention rate, boosting customer engagement and business growth.


About the Role

You’ll be part of a mission-driven team, working closely with MedBoard’s leadership to execute innovative digital marketing strategies. The focus will be on developing campaigns that align with our business goals, optimising online visibility, and fostering meaningful customer relationships—both new and existing.


Key Responsibilities

Digital & Social Media Marketing

  • Create, deliver, and analyse social media campaigns, ensuring engaging content that resonates.
  • Track, analyse, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for all digital marketing initiatives.
  • Design visually appealing social media graphics that align with MedBoard’s brand and objectives.
  • Collaborate in drafting and refining the digital marketing strategy, keeping a sharp focus on results.

Digital Marketing Execution

  • Design and implement campaigns and workflows using marketing automation platforms (e.g. Account Engagement).
  • Manage the MedBoard corporate website (WordPress), including:
    • Adding new content
    • Functionality checks
    • Refreshing and updating webpages
    • Conducting on-page keyword optimisation and back-linking to bolster SEO and navigation.
  • Develop and carry out SEO strategies to:
    • Enhance online ranking
    • Boost authority and visibility
    • Drive organic traffic

Digital Asset Creation

  • Generate a range of digital assets, including:
    • Graphic design
    • Photography (or editing)
    • Video editing
    • Document/presentation templating and formatting

Sales & Business Development

  • Seek out and evaluate new sales opportunities via various methods and customer referrals.
  • Deepen existing customer relationships, improving retention and advocacy.
  • Arrange and conduct meetings with potential and existing clients.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations on MedBoard’s products and services.
  • Monitor and report on customer performance, volume, and satisfaction.

Company Representation

  • Represent the company at exhibitions or conferences.

Technical Proficiency

Essential tools you’ll be using include:

  • WordPress (CMS)
  • Canva (design)
  • Google Analytics (data analysis)
  • Various digital marketing platforms and tools

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Marketing, Digital Media, Business Administration, Communications).
  • Proven leadership experience, including a track record of selling SaaS or other similar B2B products.
  • Hands-on experience in business development, account management, or sales, with a strong focus on nuturing and growing client relationships.

Core Skills

  • Technical proficiency:

    • WordPress CMS
    • SEO best practices
    • Digital marketing analytics (e.g. Google Analytics)
    • Graphic design tools (e.g. Canva)
    • Ability to create video editing, photography, and presentation assets.
  • Creativity and adaptability:

    • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Passion for data-driven storytelling and campaign optimisation.
