About the Role
Are you an organised and creative storyteller who loves building scroll-stopping digital content and high-quality campaigns?
We are looking for a Digital Marketing & Content Executive to lead our social media presence, capture content, support product launches and campaigns, and help tell the global story of Rugged Interactive. This will be a varied role where each week is different – you might be editing images for the website, helping build campaigns across social and email, keeping the content calendar up to date, or collaborating with agencies on photography/videography briefs. And you’ll be working in the fun and unique indoor play industry, which encompasses trampoline parks, indoor playgrounds and family entertainment centres. If this appeals to you, read on for more!
About Rugged Interactive
We are world-leading innovators in active fun, bringing technology and gamification into play spaces across the world. Since launching our flagship product, the CardioWall, into the health, fitness and education sectors back in 2009, we’ve launched a wide range of interactive attractions into the indoor play market, including tag systems, reaction games, sports challenges and climbing walls.
With headquarters in Bodmin, Cornwall and a bustling commercial office right here in Bristol, we are a fast-growing, inclusive team that believes staying healthy should be a blast. As our Digital Marketing Executive, you won’t just be pushing corporate updates - you will have a treasure trove of visually stunning, LED-lit, high-energy products to film, photograph, and experiment with.
What You’ll Do
Working with the marketing team, you will be the driving force behind our content, from product launches and case studies to social and email campaigns.
- Content generation - research, plan and create a schedule of relevant and meaningful content to be used across different social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube)
- Copywriting & storytelling – Generate creative and engaging content for a range of marketing material, including blogs, case studies and newsletter, with a primary focus on social media.
- Digital marketing – Keep our website up-to-date (WordPress), including resizing and uploading images, updating manuals and product pages, uploading case studies and reviewing content for SEO.
- Collaboration – Brainstorm and conceptualise creative briefs with the marketing team.
- Photography – Capture and edit photo content to be used in marketing and sales material. This may require occasional on-site visits to local venues and our Bodmin development hub.
- Videography – Occasionally film and edit basic product, testimonial and case study videos, overlay music and text.
- On-site content – Visit UK customer sites (with potentially some sites overseas) and our Bodmin warehouse to capture testimonials, handovers and demo videos.
- Idea generation – Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up to date with the latest digital marketing trends.
- Manage social media platform activity – Respond to messages and comments and build our networks.
- Asset & file management: Maintain and organise the marketing asset library (currently Dropbox), ensuring all new video and photo content is properly filed and accessible to the wider team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
