Digital Marketing Executive

Location: Liverpool (Hybrid)
Salary: £24,000–£28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We're looking for a proactive and ambitious Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop across multiple digital marketing disciplines while working alongside experienced specialists on a diverse portfolio of clients.

The Role

As a Digital Marketing Executive, you'll support the planning, delivery, and optimisation of digital marketing campaigns across SEO, paid media, analytics, and content marketing. You'll work closely with our digital marketing team, designers, developers, and content creators to deliver exceptional work that helps our clients grow.

We're looking for someone who is curious, organised, analytical, and eager to learn. You'll be trusted with responsibility from day one, supported by a collaborative team that values continuous improvement and high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and delivering digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Support SEO activities, including keyword research, technical audits, on-page optimisation, and competitor analysis.
  • Assist with the management and optimisation of Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Produce monthly reports and communicate campaign performance clearly.
  • Carry out website audits and recommend improvements for SEO, user experience, and conversion.
  • Support content strategies through keyword research and SEO recommendations.
  • Assist with Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) initiatives.
  • Use platforms including Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, videographers, and social media specialists to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Stay up to date with developments across digital marketing, AI, and emerging technologies.

About You

You'll ideally have:

  • A degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.
  • A genuine passion for digital marketing and a desire to continually develop your skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • Analytical thinking and confidence working with data.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A collaborative mindset and positive attitude.

Desirable Skills

Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:

  • Google Analytics 4
  • Google Ads
  • Meta Ads Manager
  • Google Search Console
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Looker Studio
  • SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog
  • WordPress or other CMS platforms
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
