Mixtape Madness is a leading platform for British urban music, showcasing music videos, mixtape premieres, audio releases, and original freestyle shows such as “Mad About Bars” and “Next Up.” The platform has played a key role in highlighting emerging and established artists, including Digga D, K.O, Kilo Jugg, J Hus, Abra Cadabra, Potter Payper, M Huncho, and Jay Silva. The team is dedicated to discovering new talent, amplifying authentic voices, and delivering high-impact digital content to fans worldwide.

Role Description

This is a part-time, hybrid Digital Marketing Executive role based in Greater London, with flexibility to work from home for part of the week. The Digital Marketing Executive will plan, execute, and optimize digital campaigns to grow audience reach and engagement across social media, web, and email channels.

  • Managing and scheduling social media posts
  • Supporting content calendars for key shows and releases
  • Coordinating digital assets with internal teams and external partners

The role will involve:

  • Tracking performance using web and social analytics
  • Reporting on campaign outcomes
  • Recommending improvements based on data insights

The Digital Marketing Executive will also help create web copy, promotional blurbs, and campaign messaging that align with the Mixtape Madness brand and resonate with the UK urban music audience.

Qualifications

  • Strong marketing and digital marketing skills, with experience planning and executing campaigns in a music, entertainment, or youth-focused environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with creatives, artists, and partners.
  • Hands-on experience in social media marketing, including managing platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube, and growing engaged online communities.
  • Ability in web content writing, including short-form copy, headlines, and descriptions tailored for digital channels and urban music audiences.
  • Comfort working with web analytics and social media insights tools to monitor performance, interpret data, and suggest data-driven improvements.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced, culture-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with UK urban music, trends, and culture, with a genuine interest in discovering and supporting emerging artists.
  • Experience with basic design or content tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, or similar) and email marketing platforms is an advantage.
  • Relevant education or equivalent practical experience in marketing, communications, media, or a related field is beneficial.
