Digital Marketing Executive - Retail Industry
Digital Marketing Executive – Reading, Berkshire
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Digital Marketing Executive to promote our online retail digital marketing platform and mobile app to local businesses across Reading and Berkshire.
This is a field-based role, involving outreach to local shops, retailers, service providers, and other businesses. Your role will be to:
- Introduce business owners to our platform
- Explain its benefits
- Demonstrate key website and app features
- Assist with vendor registration and account setup
Ideal candidates are outgoing, relationship-focused, and passionate about using digital marketing solutions to improve local businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit small, medium, and large retail businesses in Reading and surrounding areas
- Deliver platform presentations to business owners, explaining key features
- Increase online visibility, customer reach, and sales for businesses using the platform
- Offer professional guidance on digital marketing services
- Assist with vendor registration and account setup
- Gather business information for successful onboarding
- Build and maintain relationships with local business owners
- Achieve weekly and monthly vendor acquisition targets
- Collect feedback to enhance our platform and services
- Maintain accurate records of visits, leads, and new sign-ups

Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience or confidence in speaking with decision-makers in retail or services
- Basic understanding of digital marketing, websites, mobile apps, and online platforms
- Proven sales, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and independent
- Ability to manage travel schedules efficiently
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and online systems
- Previous experience in sales, business development, marketing, or customer service preferred (but not essential)
- Valid UK driving licence is advantageous (but not mandatory)
