Digital Marketing Executive – 6-Month Contract

  • Contract Type & Flexibility

The Role

A flexible 6-month contract ideal for a freelancer, consultant, or digital marketer between roles. Our small, friendly team is seeking an experienced professional to support ecommerce, content, CRM and performance marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Content & Seasonal Marketing
    • Create and update content for BusyB.co.uk, email campaigns, social channels and marketplaces.
    • Develop and execute the seasonal marketing plan.
    • Ensure product information, imagery and copy are accurate, on-brand and up to date.

  • Ecommerce & Website Management

    • Handle daily ecommerce operations, including site merchandising and product launches.
    • Deliver seasonal campaigns, promotions and website updates.
  • CRM & Email Marketing

    • Plan, execute and manage CRM/email campaigns, including:
      • Creative briefing
      • Campaign setup and testing
      • Segmentation strategies
      • Reporting for growth optimisation
    • Contribute to expanding the customer database.
  • Paid & Performance Marketing

    • Manage performance marketing across:
      • Paid search
      • Paid social
      • Other digital channels
    • Monitor commercial performance of ads and collaborate with agencies where required.
  • Collaboration & Coordination

    • Liaise with internal teams, agencies and partners to ensure:
      • Timely execution
      • Aligned priorities
      • Brand consistency

Requirements

Ideal Candidates Have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in:
    • Ecommerce
    • Digital marketing
    • A related industry role

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with ecommerce platforms, particularly Magento.
  • Proficiency in email marketing tools, ideally Klaviyo.
  • Meta/Facebook Ads knowledge.
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) reporting.
  • Canva for content creation.
  • Awin for affiliate management.
  • Bonus: Experience with Google AdWords.

  • Strong ability to work independently within a small, creative team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data tracking & reporting).
