Digital Marketing Lead
Location: Southampton (travel to Winchester & Guildford) - Can be based in Winchester or Guildford if closer - with travel to other sites
Salary: £31,000 + 10% Annual Bonus
I'm working with an award-winning provider of premium student accommodation to recruit a Digital Marketing Lead to join their growing Growth Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded digital marketer who enjoys combining performance marketing with data and analytics to drive measurable business growth.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Technology, you'll take ownership of digital marketing performance across multiple student accommodation sites.
You'll be responsible for driving enquiries and bookings through paid media, SEO, CRM, analytics and marketing technology, while managing external agency partners to ensure campaigns deliver against business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own relationships with external digital marketing agencies, setting KPIs and reviewing performance.
- Manage and optimise paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta and TikTok.
- Develop and deliver SEO strategies to increase organic traffic.
- Lead CRM and email marketing, creating automated customer journeys and nurture campaigns.
- Build dashboards and analyse marketing performance, turning data into actionable commercial insights.
- Manage marketing systems, analytics and campaign tools to ensure accurate reporting and seamless integrations.
- Plan, execute and optimise digital campaigns, including audience targeting, A/B testing and conversion optimisation.
- Manage digital marketing budgets, forecasting spend and maximising ROI.
- Partner closely with internal marketing and technology teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Support digital marketing initiatives across the wider property group.

About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience in Digital Marketing, Performance Marketing or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads and TikTok Ads.
- Experience managing external marketing agencies.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience using Excel, Looker Studio, Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Knowledge of SEO and organic growth strategies.
- Experience using CRM and email marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Mailchimp.
- Understanding of conversion rate optimisation (CRO), A/B testing and digital marketing best practices.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to present data-driven recommendations.
- A full UK driving licence.
