VMA Group & Jack Pascoe are partnering with a well-established organisation within the travel and transport sector to appoint an experienced Digital Marketing Manager.
This is a highly visible role with responsibility for shaping and delivering the organisation’s digital marketing and eCRM strategy. The successful candidate will lead activity designed to increase customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue, while improving the overall effectiveness of the organisation’s digital channels. This opportunity would suit a commercially minded digital marketer who can combine strategic leadership with hands-on campaign delivery, performance analysis, and team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, own, and deliver the organisation’s digital marketing strategy.
- Ensure digital activity is aligned with wider marketing, customer, and commercial objectives.
- Lead the eCRM strategy, with a focus on customer retention, loyalty, segmentation, and personalisation.
- Plan, deliver, and optimise integrated campaigns across paid, owned, and organic digital channels.
- Use customer data, audience insight, and behavioural trends to improve targeting and campaign relevance.
- Develop customer lifecycle campaigns that support acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention.
- Oversee digital marketing analytics and campaign performance reporting.
- Monitor key performance indicators including return on ad spend, cost per acquisition, return on investment, click-through rate, and conversion.
- Turn performance data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Manage the digital marketing budget, including forecasting, spend control, and channel allocation.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver campaigns on time and within budget.
- Create and manage campaign briefs for digital content, creative assets, landing pages, email communications, and paid media.
- Lead testing and optimisation across audiences, creative, messaging, channels, and customer journeys.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and digital marketing trends.
- Introduce new ideas and approaches that improve customer experience and commercial performance.
- Provide coaching, clear objectives, and development support to the eCRM Manager.

The Successful Candidate
We are looking for an accomplished digital marketing professional with strong experience across strategy, campaign delivery, eCRM, and performance optimisation. You will be commercially focused, data-led, and confident operating as a digital marketing expert within a complex, customer-facing organisation.

- Proven experience developing and delivering digital marketing strategies.
- Strong knowledge of paid, owned, and organic digital channels.
- Extensive experience planning and optimising multi-channel campaigns.
- A strong understanding of eCRM, customer segmentation, and lifecycle marketing.
- Experience delivering customer retention, loyalty, and personalisation programmes.
- Confidence using analytics and performance data to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Strong knowledge of metrics including ROI, ROAS, CPA, CTR, and conversion.
- Experience managing significant digital marketing budgets.
- The ability to translate commercial objectives into measurable marketing activity.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing external agencies, suppliers, and technology partners.
- Previous line-management or team-leadership experience.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-moving environment.
Experience within travel, transport, leisure, or another high-volume customer-facing sector would be advantageous, although candidates from other relevant industries will also be considered. A CIM qualification or equivalent digital marketing accreditation would also be beneficial.
