Digital Marketing Manager

Highly Motivated Digital Marketing & Advertising Strategist

About the Role

We are seeking a forward-thinking Digital Marketing and Advertising Strategist to join our UK-based team at The Orchard. This role will focus on delivering top-tier marketing services for our artist and label roster, specialising in Electronic, Dance, Soundtracks, Classical, Catalogue, and Jazz.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Create and execute strategic, always-on marketing campaigns to drive publicity, awareness, and engagement
  • Build and manage audiences through effective CRM strategies
  • Engage fanbases to boost sales and revenue for new releases and existing catalogues

The position will report to the Senior Director, Marketing Strategy and receive guidance from the Relationship Lead.

Our team convenes in our London, Kings Cross office (Monday–Thursday) and works remotely on Fridays.


What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Label & Artist Communication

    • Serve as the primary marketing contact for assigned labels and artists
    • Lead discussions on marketing strategies, campaign planning, data collection, CRM execution, and performance evaluation
  • Creativity & Campaign Development

    • Conceptualise and execute data-driven, innovative marketing campaigns to stay ahead in audience development
    • Ensure campaigns align with current online trends and industry best practices
  • Strategic Oversight

    • Oversee high-priority marketing campaigns for critical releases and label initiatives
    • Use data and performance metrics to make informed decisions
    • Monitor emerging digital tools and trends to enhance campaign effectiveness

  • Performance Analysis & Optimisation

    • Analyse campaign ROI, audience segmentation, trends, and areas for improvement
    • Cross-reference pre- and post-release strategies for maximum impact
    • Leverage platform tools to build audiences, engage fanbases, and drive demand
  • Internal & External Partnerships

    • Identify opportunities for artist and label growth through internal and external tools
    • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to bring innovative digital and physical activations to life
    • Strengthen fan community relationships to amplify campaign reach
  • Team Collaboration

    • Work with global market teams to identify cultural touchpoints for audience acquisition and engagement
  • Problem-Solving & Flexibility

    • Proactively identify and resolve campaign challenges
    • Adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining vision and execution excellence

Who You Are

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years in digital marketing within the music industry or equivalent field
  • Proven track record of successful campaign development, execution, and optimisation
  • Passion for the music business with a desire to build a long-term career in the industry

Preferred Technical Knowledge & Proficiencies

  • Experience booking digital advertisements across Meta (Facebook/Instagram Ads), Google Ads, and TikTok Ads Manager
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and current trends
  • Familiarity with industry-specific tools (e.g., digital service providers for music discovery)
  • Skill in using analytics tools to track release performance, trends, and fan engagement
  • Basic proficiency in Photoshop, HTML, and video editing software
  • Experience with Google Suite and project management tools is a plus
