Digital Marketing Manager

Location: Chester / Crewe / Wrexham (Hybrid, 2 days a week in office)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

12 Month FTC (Maternity Cover)

A well-established Professional Services business in the North West is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave. This is a genuinely broad role, giving you ownership of content, SEO, GEO/AEO awareness, ASO input, and CRO support, right across web and app.

You'll pick up the reins from day one, working closely with the outgoing manager to get a full handover of live projects, partner relationships, and reporting, and you'll keep things moving smoothly with clear documentation throughout your time in the role.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Content: Plan, produce and manage content across web, blog, and organic channels, in line with brand and SEO strategy.
  • SEO, GEO & AEO: Own the SEO strategy across on-page, technical, and off-page activity, while keeping an eye on emerging GEO and AEO developments as search behaviour evolves.
  • ASO: Support App Store Optimisation activity to improve app visibility, ranking, and installs, working alongside an agency partner.
  • Agencies & in-house content: Manage external agencies and in-house content resource, making sure output stays on-brief and on plan.
  • Paid: Provide content direction and input to the paid marketing function, keeping it consistent with organic and brand strategy.
  • CRO: Work with the Product team to identify and support conversion rate optimisation opportunities across web and app.
  • Affiliates: Manage the agency running the affiliate programme in line with commercial goals.
  • AI-supported ways of working: Use AI tools to improve efficiency across content, SEO, and CRO workflows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
