Digital Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover)

Why This Role Matters

The Digital Marketing Manager is a key member of Christie’s Digital team. Supporting the Head of Digital Marketing, this individual will play an integral role in developing, supporting and managing performance-driven, digital media campaigns that drive customer acquisition, engagement and transactions to support our global auctions.

With strong emphasis on demonstrating ROI of paid media campaigns, this role focuses on high-quality traffic growth across multiple channels, including SEM, Paid Social, Display, Video, Affiliates and emerging digital ad platforms.

This role is a combination of data-led decision making and story-telling, enabling Christie’s to reach the right online audience with compelling and engaging advertising.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • End to end cross-channel campaign management, working closely with Regional Marketing teams to plan and deliver highly effective digital marketing activity
  • Managing external media agencies and affiliates to plan and execute campaigns, including crafting media briefs, reviewing plans, and trafficking creative assets
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of digital media activity, providing measurable results and actionable insights for future campaigns
  • Researching and analysing performance drivers to improve future campaign profitability/growth and contribute towards the delivery of KPIs, targets and overall commercial goals
  • Partnering with Marketing, Department Specialists, Product, Web Production, CRM, Insights/Analytics, and Content & Organic Social teams to develop digital creative and optimise the digital user experience
  • Delivering testing strategy; identify, implement and operationalise tests to improve performance and evolve channels
  • Managing monthly PO and supplier invoicing process, working closely with Finance to ensure accurate and timely processing
  • Supporting in the training and development of our Digital Marketing apprentice

What You’ll Bring To The Team

  • Minimum 3-5 Years in paid digital media, with a strong emphasis on digital audience development strategies, preferably for a luxury business
  • Proven expertise in key media disciplines/tools, with a deep understanding of best practices within SEM, display, programmatic, integrated marketing campaigns, paid social media marketing, mobile marketing, and online media research
  • Experience in managing multi-million-dollar digital media budgets, ensuring campaigns are completed within planned parameters and achieve objectives
  • Considers him/herself a digital champion – with a high passion and curiosity for how digital affects the consumer decision journey
  • Adept at quickly learning a broad array of digital marketing technologies and applying that knowledge to real world business scenarios at Christie’s
  • Highly analytical, able to effectively assess and distil the metrics and complexities of digital initiatives so that it is meaningful and actionable to multiple stakeholders
  • Outstanding relationship and business builder with a demonstrated track record of working seamlessly with cross-disciplinary groups within a global organization to deliver digital programs on time and within budget
  • Familiar with analytic and online media tools such as Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager
  • Possesses strong communication and presentation skills
  • Has excellent organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly creative and displays a passion and sensitivity for fine art and luxury goods
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Language Requirements: English

  • 16 weeks full pay on Maternity Leave
  • Eligible to return to work for 80% of your agreed normal weekly working pattern while being paid as though you were working 100%, post a minimum of 16 weeks of leave
