ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join a leading specialist scientific business located in the Bedfordshire area. This exciting role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the company's digital presence, optimise digital channels, and contribute to its continued growth within the science and laboratory supply sector.

The role is office-based five days a week and collaborate closely with the senior marketing team to develop and implement strategies that enhance visibility, engagement, and commercial performance across all digital platforms.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties as the Digital Marketing Manager will be varied, however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Manage and optimise the performance, structure, and effectiveness of digital marketing activities to support business growth.
  • Oversee website performance, SEO, and content updates to improve visibility and user engagement.
  • Execute and manage digital campaigns across paid search, email, social media, and digital advertising channels.
  • Develop digital customer journeys, track performance metrics, and generate insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will ensure digital activities align with commercial objectives and deliver measurable results.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Digital Marketing Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  • A Degree or higher level in marketing, digital marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing SEO, paid search, email marketing, or digital campaigns in a B2B or technical environment.
  • Strong commercial judgement with the ability to translate business priorities into effective digital strategies.
  • Experience working with CMS platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
