Digital Marketing Manager
Digital Marketing & Advertising Strategist (Music Industry – UK, Hybrid Role)
About the Role
The Orchard is seeking a highly motivated, forward-thinking digital marketing and advertising strategist to join their UK-based team, specialising predominantly in electronic, dance and niche genres, including soundtrack, classical, catalogue, and jazz.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing Strategy with input from the Relationship Lead, this role requires managing full-cycle campaigns, fragmented releases, and strategic audience expansion.
Primary Base: London, Kings Cross office (Mon-Thurs). Remote: Fridays.
Responsibilities
Core Duties

Label & Artist Growth:
- Serve as the primary marketing contact for assigned labels and artists, leading discussions on strategy alignment, campaign planning, data-driven CRM execution, and ongoing performance analysis.
- Develop and execute evergreen campaigns to amplify artist and catalogue visibility.

Creativity & Trend Leadership:
- Conceptualise, execute, and optimise cutting-edge marketing campaigns, staying ahead with latest platforms and trends.

Campaign Oversight & Execution:
- Oversee high-priority release campaigns, focusing on artist promotion and label objectives.
- Utilise real-time data and KPI tracking to inform decisions.
- Monitor and advise on emerging digital trends & technologies (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.).

Performance & Audience Insights:
- Analyse audience segments, engagement patterns, and revenue drivers to refine pre/post-release strategies.
- Deep technical expertise required for platforms like Meta, Google, TikTok Ads Manager.

- Build internal/external partnerships to enhance campaign execution.
- Foster fan engagement to extend reach.

- Collaborate with global teams to map regional trends for audience growth.

- Quick thinking and adaptability within established processes but also flexibility to explore new avenues.
Key Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years in digital marketing (music industry preferred).
- Strong portfolio for conceptual, analytics-driven, and conversion-focused campaign strategies.
- Music business passion—cross-functional knowledge of artist manifesto drives.
- Technical Competency:
- Familiarity with Meta/Facebook, Google, and TikTok Ads Manager.
- Hands-on experience with social media trends (TikTok Challenges, Discord integrations, etc.).
- Basics in Photoshop fundamentals, HTML, and video editing (Waveform, Canva, Premiere).
- Analytical Rigour: Data literacy with Google Analytics, CRM tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp), and tracking metrics.
- Project Management:
- Proven ability to multitask— Juggling multiple campaigns— with tight deadlines.
- MS GOOGLE SUITE + PRINT/PROJECT MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE (Trello, ClickUp) a plus.
