About the Role
Join a high-growth market leadership agency, delivering measurable commercial results for clients. As Digital Marketing Manager (or Head of Marketing), you will:
- Own the end-to-end marketing function, shaping strategy and driving results.
- Report directly to the Managing Director (MD).
- Lead cross-functional teams across SEO, Paid Media, Content Marketing, and Marketing Automation.
- Define performance standards, elevate talent, and ensure data-driven, excellence-driven client outcomes.
- Shape the agency’s future trajectory while fostering a tight-knit, ambitious culture.
Core Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
- Set marketing standards, KPIs, and future direction for the agency.
- Lead hiring and retention: Midlands experienced vs. development growth.
- Inspire and mentor a specialist team through 1:1s, performance reviews, and clear goal-setting.

Client Champions & Dependency Management
- Serve as the go-to escalation point for client marketing needs.
- Partner with account managers to boost retention and portfolio valuation.

Key Requirements
You are a _results-oriented leader able to execute, scale, and deliver commercial growth. Must showcase:
- Senior Marketing or Leadership Experience (agency setting is preferred).
- Proven expertise in full marketing stacks (SEO, Paid Media, Content, Automation).
- Hands-on experience with GA4 and performance platforms to drive decisions.
- Record of mentoring and uplifting teams, ensuring long-term career development.
- Ability to integrate AI and automation to optimize operations and output.
- Strong client-facing communication skills—translating strategy into compelling storytelling.
- Resilience for fast-paced environments, with acute attention to detail and prioritization.
