Performance Marketing Manager at CEL
Position Overview
You'll be responsible for planning, executing and optimising high-performing Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns across multiple digital platforms. Managing a substantial monthly advertising budget, you'll focus on generating high-quality leads while continually improving campaign performance, efficiency and return on investment. Working closely with the wider marketing team, you'll use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for growth and help shape the firm's digital acquisition strategy.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- At least 3 years' experience managing Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns
- Experience managing a six-figure monthly or multi-million-pound annual advertising budget
- Essential: B2C marketing experience
- Professional services marketing experience is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and other paid media platforms
- Experience using Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and reporting tools
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities
- Experience managing campaign budgets, forecasting and reporting on performance
- A strong understanding of conversion rate optimisation and customer acquisition
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- A passion for continuous testing, learning and improving campaign performance

Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Plan, manage and optimise Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns across multiple platforms
- Manage significant digital advertising budgets to maximise lead generation and return on investment
- Monitor campaign performance, making data-led optimisation decisions to improve results
- Conduct keyword research, audience targeting and competitor analysis
- Develop and implement testing strategies across creative, landing pages and audience segments
- Analyse campaign performance and produce regular reports with actionable insights
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to align campaigns with business objectives
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to improve customer acquisition strategies
- Monitor industry trends, platform updates and emerging opportunities
- Ensure campaigns comply with advertising policies and relevant regulatory requirements
- Achieve agreed performance KPIs including lead volume, cost per acquisition and return on ad spend
- Line management of a marketing assistant
