Location: Remote role with occasional travel to Head Office (St Mellons, Cardiff)

Job description
We are looking for a creative, results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to join our in-house marketing team on a maternity cover contract.
Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing & Communications, you'll take ownership of planning, delivering and optimising digital marketing campaigns across paid media, email marketing, social media and content channels. You'll play a key role in increasing brand awareness, generating high-quality leads and supporting the delivery of the wider marketing strategy through data-driven campaigns.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working across multiple digital channels, analysing performance and continuously improving campaign results.
Key responsibilities
Social media & content
- Develop and deliver engaging social media strategies across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
- Plan, create and schedule high-quality content that aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
- Manage social media campaigns from concept through to delivery and post-campaign analysis.
- Work closely with the design team to create engaging digital assets and optimise the customer journey.
- Write compelling marketing copy for blogs, website content, email campaigns, award submissions and other marketing materials.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates and best practice to maximise performance.

Paid media
- Plan, manage and optimise paid campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Meta Ads.
- Conduct audience research, keyword research and competitor analysis to inform campaign strategy.
- Create engaging ad copy and work with the wider team to optimise landing pages for improved conversion.
- Monitor campaign performance, carrying out A/B testing and implementing ongoing improvements to maximise ROI.
- Manage campaign budgets and ensure spend is optimised across all paid channels.
Email marketing
- Plan, build and execute email marketing campaigns using HubSpot, including newsletters, lead nurturing campaigns and marketing automation workflows.
- Segment audiences to deliver relevant, personalised communications.
- Test subject lines, content and calls to action to improve open rates, click-through rates and conversions.
- Monitor campaign performance and continually optimise future email activity.
Performance & analytics
- Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance across all digital marketing channels.
- Produce monthly reports and dashboards, providing clear insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Use data and analytics to identify trends, customer behaviour and opportunities to improve marketing performance.
- Track KPIs and ensure campaigns contribute towards lead generation and business objectives.
- Stay informed on algorithm changes, industry developments and emerging digital marketing best practice.
Brand & marketing support
- Research competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities and support strategic planning.
- Research, write and coordinate submissions for industry awards, ensuring entries effectively showcase business achievements.
- Support the delivery of wider marketing campaigns, events and business initiatives where required.
Experience
- Minimum of two years' experience in digital marketing, PPC or social media marketing.
- Hands-on experience managing Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Meta Ads campaigns.
- Experience using HubSpot, Snov.io or a similar marketing automation platform.
- Strong understanding of SEO, website optimisation and lead generation.
- Experience planning and delivering successful email marketing campaigns.
- Confident analysing marketing data and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements across digital marketing campaigns.
- Strong copywriting skills with experience producing engaging content across multiple channels.
- Experience conducting competitor and market research.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Core skills
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related subject is desirable but not essential.
- Passion for digital marketing and a genuine desire to continually develop your skills.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and customer journeys.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

- Monday to Thursday: 8:45am – 4:45pm
- Friday: 8:45am – 3:30pm
