Digital Marketing Specialist - CRM

Division: Mercedes-Benz UK

Duration: Initially to 31st December 2026, with the role expected to continue until February 2028 through a series of contract extensions.

Pay Rate: £19.34 per hour (£35,200 equivalent salary)

Premium Pay Rate: £22.15 per hour

Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (35 hours per week with 1-hour lunch break)

Location: Tongwell, Milton Keynes – Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home)

Start Date: 3rd August 2026

Your New Role

As a Digital Marketing Specialist - CRM, you will play a key role in delivering customer-centric CRM campaigns that drive engagement, loyalty, lead generation, and sales performance. Working closely with agency partners, internal stakeholders, and data teams, you will own and optimise targeted customer communications throughout the customer lifecycle.

This exciting position combines creativity, data, and strategy, giving you the opportunity to influence customer journeys, deliver personalised communications, and create campaigns that directly impact customer retention and commercial growth.

You'll Also

  • Lead the delivery of CRM campaigns from brief through to execution, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, to a high standard, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage agency relationships and oversee campaign delivery, ensuring quality, performance, and effective execution.
  • Support and drive the Customer Rewards Programme, developing compelling customer propositions and helping to increase loyalty programme sign-ups.
  • Create and optimise personalised customer communications that generate high-quality leads and sales opportunities.
  • Develop nurture journeys and automated customer communications that maintain engagement and encourage customer conversion.
  • Work closely with Data & Insights teams to identify audience segments and target customers with relevant and timely communications.
  • Analyse campaign performance and customer behaviour data to generate actionable insights and improve future activity.
  • Deliver retention-focused CRM campaigns across purchase and ownership journeys, increasing customer engagement across products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure CRM activity is aligned with wider marketing strategies and business priorities.
  • Monitor customer engagement metrics and provide reporting on campaign effectiveness, loyalty performance, and conversion outcomes.
  • Continuously test, learn, and optimise CRM activity to maximise customer experience and commercial results.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Previous experience within a CRM, digital marketing, lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or customer communications role.
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation, targeting, and personalised marketing.
  • Experience managing marketing campaigns from planning through to execution and performance analysis.
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills with the ability to create engaging customer content.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using customer data and insights to drive marketing decisions.
  • Experience working with agencies and multiple stakeholders to deliver successful campaigns.
  • Knowledge of customer journey mapping, lead generation, and retention marketing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how CRM activity contributes to customer loyalty and sales performance.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
