Digital Marketing Specialist (SEO/SEM)
Our Client, a leading manufacturer of precision cutting tools, is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist (SEO/SEM) to join their team. The company has over 60 years' experience providing precision-engineered products in industrial applications. The company's internationally recognized brands are sold in over 90 countries. The European division of the company is headquartered in Ireland.
The Digital Marketing Specialist – SEO/SEM will help create, optimize, and develop paid and organic search activity across the Company’s digital channels. This role will support campaign planning and execution, identify new SEO and SEM tactics, improve website and content visibility, and contribute to Search Everywhere optimisation across traditional search engines, AI-influenced search experiences, and other relevant digital touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Search Campaign Creation & Optimisation
- Create, update, and optimize paid search campaigns across agreed platforms, regions, and product categories.
- Develop keyword lists, ad copy, links, and campaign structures aligned to product priorities and search intent.
- Monitor campaign performance, budget pacing, and conversion activity, recommending practical improvements where needed.
- Test new SEM tactics to improve visibility, qualified traffic, and conversions for new and existing markets.

SEO, Content & Search Everywhere Optimisation
- Carry out keyword, competitor, and search intent research to support content optimization and campaign planning.
- Work across the team to optimize website pages, blog content, landing pages, and product-related content for organic search performance.
- Identify and test new SEO tactics, including content improvements, metadata updates, internal linking, and structured content opportunities.
- Support Search Everywhere optimisation by improving visibility across search engines, AI-driven discovery, ecommerce search, and other relevant digital channels.
Reporting & Analysis
- Optimize regular performance reporting covering traffic, rankings, campaign results, conversions, and agreed KPIs.
- Review performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for optimisation.
- Maintain clear records of campaign changes, content updates, testing activity, and performance outcomes.
Cross-Functional Support
- Work with Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, and regional teams to support product launches, website updates, and campaign priorities.
- Coordinate inputs from internal teams to ensure campaign, website, and product content is accurate and aligned.
- Contribute to cross functional projects to ensure team success.

Key Requirements
- Practical experience in digital marketing, search engine marketing, SEO, and website content optimisation.
- Good attention to detail with the ability to manage campaign, content, and reporting tasks with limited supervision.
- A proactive, organized approach with the ability to recommend improvements and follow through on agreed actions.
- Degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in Marketing, Business, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
- Experience creating, managing, or optimising SEO and paid search activity.
- Working knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics, keyword research, and search performance reporting.
- Comfortable using performance data to identify optimisation opportunities and support campaign decisions.
- Experience using a CMS or updating website content is desirable.
Desirable Skills
- Exposure to SEO tools, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
- Experience writing, editing, or publishing website or blog content.
- An interest in industrial, manufacturing, technical, or B2B marketing environments.
