Digital Marketing Strategist

£35,000-40,000 per annum

Role Overview:

As Digital Marketing Strategist at Pretty Pragmatic, you’ll work within the strategy team with a particular focus on achieving organic growth for our clients, reviewing analytics to spot opportunities and translating that into activity that can move the needle.

The main elements of the role will be:

  • Supporting on strategic reviews of brands digital performance.
  • Website analysis and SEO performance reviews.
  • SEO Strategy – carrying out keyword research and spotting new opportunities for clients, and where content is most needed to capture relevant traffic.
  • Providing strategic direction for digital projects, such as website builds.
  • Using data from tools such as Google Analytics and Semrush to provide insights and inform marketing activity.
  • Presenting campaign ideas and strategic plans to clients.
  • Informing overarching digital strategy with a strong understanding of research techniques, SEO, GEO, and how to measure meaningful metrics.
  • Overseeing the rollout of content plans for clients.
  • Briefing copywriters and designers on content and campaign development.
  • Devising the user experience for new websites and enhanced functionality for existing websites.
  • Reporting and providing strategic recommendations that can improve business performance.

Who we’re looking for:

You’ll be a good fit for the role if you have a good level of experience either within an in-house marketing role with responsibility for websites and organic search performance - or a hands-on marketing strategist working agency side who’s used to managing a number of client's organic performance.

You'll enjoy discovering nuggets of insight using GA4 and SEO tools such as Semrush, alongside an enthusiasm for great web user experiences - and spotting an opportunity to make things better.
