As a Commodities Product Manager within the Digital Markets team, you will partner with Quant Trading, Trading, Sales, and Technology to identify and implement cutting-edge electronic solutions that enhance client execution and distribution capabilities across Global Commodities markets. You will operate in a fast-paced trading floor environment, driving product strategy, workflow automation, and data-driven adoption of digital tools that directly boost revenue and market share. Your work will be central to our mission of delivering innovative, scalable, and client-centric e-trading solutions that set J.P. Morgan apart as a leader in digital transformation across asset classes.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate with Trading, Sales, Digital Markets, and Technology partners to design and implement electronic solutions for quote distribution and algorithmic execution in Commodities markets.
- Partner with key stakeholders to enable connectivity and seamless distribution of electronic pricing and execution tools across the franchise.
- Gather and synthesize client feedback, monitor market developments, and proactively identify new digitization opportunities.
- Provide technical leadership to build scalable frameworks that drive automation and enhance sales efficiency.
- Evaluate and balance cost versus benefit of technology solutions, driving prioritization decisions and ensuring timely adoption.
- Develop and promote workflow automation strategies using data-driven analysis to maximize impact across the business.
- Lead projects independently from inception to delivery, escalating risks and issues appropriately to ensure successful outcomes.
- Define and articulate product strategy with a focus on Commodities, communicating vision clearly through presentations to sales and trading stakeholders.
- Champion digital solutions globally, tracking measurable adoption metrics and continuously optimizing for impact.
- Manage budget and implementation plans for pre-agreed product roadmaps, ensuring delivery against agreed milestones.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proven experience in product management or electronic product development within Financial Services, with a focus on Fixed Income, Commodities, or e-trading solutions.
- Strong understanding of electronic trading workflows, including quote distribution, algorithmic execution, and client-facing e-trading platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver complex, cross-functional technology or digital product initiatives in a front-office environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives effectively.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to assess cost versus benefit of technology investments and drive prioritization decisions.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data-driven approaches to identify opportunities and measure adoption.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic trading floor environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience engaging directly with sales and trading teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable product solutions.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in Commodities markets, including knowledge of relevant products, market structure, and client workflows.
- Background in technology or software development, with the ability to engage deeply with engineering teams on solution design.
- Familiarity with algorithmic execution strategies and electronic market making in capital markets.
- Experience driving global product adoption across multiple regions and asset classes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
