Reports to Digital Director

AKA is one of the world’s most successful entertainment marketing agencies, delivering full-service advertising and marketing across theatre, live entertainment, film, music, museums, galleries, events and attractions. We work with some of the UK’s leading cultural and commercial organisations.

We are looking for a Digital Media Manager to join our Digital team in our head office in the heart of London’s West End.

This role is responsible for the effective day-to-day management of digital campaigns, across Biddable, Paid Social & Display, ensuring strong delivery across planning, activation and reporting. It combines hands-on campaign management with growing ownership of client relationships, campaign performance and commercial accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign delivery and account management

  • Manage the day-to-day running of digital media accounts, ensuring accuracy across planning, activation and reporting
  • Work with Digital Directors to strategize, plan, and report on client campaigns
  • Oversee campaign execution across multiple clients, working closely with Digital Media Executives to deliver activity on time and to a high standard
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date media plans and schedules, reflecting live campaign activity
  • Ensure reporting is delivered to deadlines, with clear and actionable performance insights

Client management and communication

  • Responsible for day-to-day management of Digital Media accounts including client communication, planning and accuracy across activation and reporting
  • Presenting paid media strategy in client meetings, making recommendations on the best practical strategies to put in place
  • Managing monthly client reviews - providing insights on campaign performance
  • Demonstrate confidence and clarity in communicating with the team, clients and media owners

Performance and commercial responsibility

  • Take ownership of campaign budget management, including bookings, pacing and billing processes
  • Monitor performance and identify opportunities to optimise campaigns and improve results
  • Lead monthly campaign reviews, providing insight-driven recommendations
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered in a commercially effective and efficient way

Innovation and development

  • Stay up to date with developments in the digital media landscape and identify relevant opportunities for clients
  • Test and implement new approaches, platforms or formats where appropriate

Team contribution

  • Support and collaborate with junior team members, including line management responsibility following probation
  • Demonstrate a positive, proactive and professional approach within the Digital and wider Media team

Requirements

Essential

  • Strong understanding of the role of digital media within the wider marketing mix
  • 2+ years’ experience in digital media (Paid Social / Biddable / Programmatic / Managed Service)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop

Desirable

  • Experience using reporting tools such as Google Analytics
  • Interest in broader media channels and cross-channel planning
  • Interest in arts, culture or the entertainment sector
