Role Overview
The Digital Media Specialist will focus on programmatic media buying and YouTube campaign management, with expertise in DV360. You will help partner comms planning teams deliver the programmatic component of their campaigns, working closely with external agencies and internal teams to execute best-in-class programmatic advertising.
Digital Media Specialists help develop and implement programmatic best practices that will accelerate the team's capabilities and competencies in this channel. You will execute YouTube campaigns using DV360, leveraging 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data and engage with internal creative, campaign and media teams to implement best practice campaigns. You will work closely with the Digital Media Manager, MODE Team Lead, wider XCM media planning team and Amazon DSP Team to evolve programmatic capabilities across key strategic pillars, developing use across existing and emerging programmatic channels and improving measurement capabilities with on-platform measurement and 3rd party tools.
A Day in the Life
- Start your day at LHR16, level 7, catching up with the MODE and XCM Media team over coffee before diving into the day's priorities.
- Review your live EU campaigns in DV360, checking performance metrics and pacing to identify any immediate optimization needs.
- Join weekly agency stand-ups to discuss campaign pacing and creative performance with external partners.
- Collaborate closely with XCM media planning and creative teams to develop programmatic strategies for upcoming brand campaigns.
- Build new campaigns in DV360, configuring audience targeting with Amazon 1st party data and implementing tracking pixels for proper measurement.
- Analyze campaign performance using brand lift studies and Nielsen data, translating these insights into Excel reports.
- Document programmatic best practices alongside your manager, contributing to internal playbooks.
- Conduct final performance checks, optimizing budgets and scaling winning creative and audience combinations based on real-time data.
- Review priorities and prepare materials for upcoming agency calls.

About The Team
We're seeking a dynamic Digital Media Specialist to join our EU Marketing & Prime organization in London. You'll be part of the MODE (Media Operations, Data & Execution) team, a specialized unit within our EU XCM (Cross-Channel, Cross-Country Marketing) Media team. In this role, you'll drive our mission to build the Amazon brand through innovative, measurable, and high-impact cross-channel campaigns.
Basic Qualifications
- Very strong experience working with external partners/agencies on programmatic media campaigns, specifically DV360 and YouTube.
- Deep knowledge of programmatic buying platforms (DV360, ADSP, TTD), campaign management tools, and the YouTube advertising ecosystem.
- Proven track record of delivering high quality programmatic campaigns in dynamic environments, focusing on brand and upper funnel activity, with good knowledge of full-funnel campaigns.
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of programmatic media measurement: platform brand lift studies, 3rd party measurement tools (Nielsen), incrementality measurement, and measurement best practice.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including working with budgets and numbers, with the ability to analyze real-time campaign performance and make informed optimization decisions.
- Good doc writing capabilities; able to build out clear post campaign analysis narratives.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Hold a Bachelors degree or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications
- Media agency experience or in-house media experience.
- AI tool proficiency, and a passion to learn.
- Self-motivated and flexible in dynamic working environments.
- Bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Great oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of working with influencer focused creative.
