Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Digital Nurse to join our Clinical Digital Team and support the delivery of our ambitious Digital Strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the implementation of innovative digital solutions that improve patient care, enhance staff experience, and support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services across the Trust.

Role

As a Digital Nurse, you will be a key member of the Clinical Digital Team, supporting the planning, development, and delivery of high-quality training and education programs for clinical users of digital healthcare systems and technologies.

  • Work closely with clinical teams, Digital Transformation colleagues, ICT services, and system suppliers to ensure staff have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to use digital systems effectively as part of their day-to-day practice.
  • Deliver multidisciplinary training, provide learner support, facilitate system adoption, and help embed new ways of working that support safer, more efficient patient care.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About Us

We are an award-winning NHS Foundation Trust working alongside health and social care colleagues across the county to provide acute and community healthcare services to more than 420,000 people across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood, and parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.

  • We put the patient at the heart of everything that we do and it is our aim to make sure that every patient is treated as we would want a member of our own family to be treated.
  • At the same time, we expect our staff to be caring, kind, and courteous to each other and to look out for each other. We believe that we are truly a clinically-led organization.

We are proud that our Trust colleagues have voted us the best acute Trust to work for in the East Midlands for seven years running in the National NHS Staff Survey, while the Care Quality Commission has rated our Trust as ‘outstanding’ for care and our King’s Mill Hospital as the only ‘outstanding’ NHS-run hospital in the East Midlands.
