Role/Team overview
The Digital Optimisation Analyst is responsible for driving a high-performing, data-led digital experience across Sky Business platforms. The role focuses on turning user data into actionable insight, establishing meaningful performance metrics, and leading optimisation initiatives to improve reach, engagement, and conversion. Acting as a data evangelist, this role champions a culture of continuous improvement across customer-facing digital journeys.
What You’ll Do
- Lead digital optimisation across Sky Business platforms, owning the A/B testing framework, experimentation backlog, and CRO roadmap
- Use analytics and insight tools to identify opportunities, delivering data-led recommendations to improve traffic, engagement, and conversion
- Manage and optimise onsite journeys, content, and funnels to enhance customer experience (CX) and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX/UI, developers, product, marketing) to deliver measurable improvements in web performance
- Translate experimentation outcomes into clear recommendations, including impacts to SEO, paid media, and campaign effectiveness
- Champion a data-driven culture by evangelising analytics tools and ensuring tracking accuracy, including consent and privacy considerations

What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in digital analytics, CRO, and optimisation (typically 5+ years in a similar role)
- Strong hands-on experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, GTM, and A/B testing platforms (e.g. Optimizely)
- Demonstrated ability to turn data into actionable insight, driving measurable improvements in conversion and engagement
- Solid understanding of SEO, paid media, digital marketing performance, and customer journey optimisation
- Experience working with developers, UX/UI teams, and presenting insights to stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with strong organisation and problem-solving capability

How you’ll work
We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 2 days in the office per week.
Your office base
Livingston
Sky Watermark is our central site for Livingston, sitting between Glasgow and Edinburgh. With vibrant office spaces, chill-out areas, and an onsite canteen, it’s a great place to work and connect.
