About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Orthodontics and Aligners Solutions (OAS), this Dental Sales Orthodontics role focuses on growing the SureSmile Orthodontic business in designated territories. Your primary goal is to:
- Increase revenue by expanding the number of active customers via aligner case submissions and retainer orders.
- Acquire new accounts while managing and growing existing customer relationships (account management).
- Drive commercial success through agile sales tactics and a results-driven, collaborative approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Growth & Development:
- Develop and retain new orthodontic accounts, prioritising growth in aligner & digital solutions.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual commercial targets.

Sales Synergy & Collaboration:
- Work with wider Dentsply Sirona (DS) sales teams to leverage existing relationships for full Dentsply Sirona workflow sales, including SureSmile & Digital Solutions.
- Manage relationships with key accounts while delivering high-level support on all DS workflows.

Training & Education:
- Provide market-leading training and ensure efficient use of DS solutions.
- Deliver education & events (e.g., lunch & learn, webinars, on-the-ground training) to promote SureSmile awareness and align with Clinical Affairs & Marketing strategies.

Territory Management & Data Analysis:
- Utilise CRM tools (Salesforce Lightning) to track activity and manage territories effectively.
- Analyse sales data (direct via BI reports, indirect via PCDSO) to refine targets and refine focus.
Requirements
Essential:
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent combination of education and commercial experience.
- Sales experience (essential). Dental sales experience preferred.
- Proven sales success alongside a competitive, results-driven mentality.
- Strong ability to collaborate while managing individual account responsibilities.
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills, with confidence to engage with clinicians.
- Analytical ability to prioritise workloads, set targets, and drive efficiency.
- Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) CRM tools (Salesforce Lightening).
- Valid UK driver’s licence for regular business travel (1-2 nights weekly, extended during induction, occasional overseas assignments).

- Experience with orthodontic/aligner provider sales and workflow management.
- Proven track record of data-driven decisions in commercial roles.

- Base pay structure with uncapped sales commission (30% of overall target earnings, OTE).
