Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days a week in the office)
Salary: up to £62k + great benefits
An incredible opportunity has arisen at a top independent media agency, who are searching for a Digital Planning Director to join their talented team and lead the digital strategy across a portfolio of ambitious growth brands.
This role offers the chance to join a media agency with a great reputation which partner with exciting entrepreneurial brands across a range of sectors. They have a great reputation, very good retention rate and are well known for award-winning work.
As Digital Planning Director, you will take ownership of digital planning across multiple client accounts, ensure strategic excellence from planning through to activation whilst working closely with senior leadership to help evolve the agency's digital proposition. You will also play a pivotal role in the development of a high performing team, driving commercial growth, and contributing to new business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead integrated digital media strategies across CTV, online video, display, digital audio, paid social and partnerships.
- Ensure planning translates seamlessly into activation, optimisation and campaign performance.
- Act as the senior day-to-day client lead across key accounts.
- Drive commercial growth through existing client development and new opportunities.
- Help shape and continuously improve the agency's digital planning processes and frameworks.
- Lead and develop a team of digital planners, embedding best practice.
- Build strong relationships with media owners and technology partners to unlock innovation.
- Play a significant role in agency pitches and new business opportunities.
Your profile:
You'll be a strategic digital planning leader with a strong understanding of the UK media landscape and experience managing senior client relationships.

- Ideally 7-8+ years' experience in digital media planning.
- Strong expertise across CTV, online video, display, digital audio, paid social and partnerships.
- Excellent commercial awareness with forecasting and revenue management experience.
- Proven people management and coaching skills.
- Outstanding client relationship and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into strategic recommendations.
- Experience contributing to new business pitches and agency growth.
- Offline media planning or comms planning experience would be advantageous.
