Digital & Platform Services Business Manager – Business Management Team

About the Role
Join a high-exposure, fast-paced, cross-functional team collaborating with HR, Finance, Business Management, Internal Communications, and Digital Platform Services. This hypertargeted, high-visibility role demands a strategic mindset, analytical acumen, and the ability to drive alignment across D&PS priorities—elevating insights for senior leadership.
As a Business Manager for D&PS within the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB), you’ll act as a strategic partner for the CIB COO, shaping operational, technology, and digital transformation. Your focus is continuous improvement through creative problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-functional leadership: Work across D&PS to prioritise and drive shared strategic initiatives, continuously elevating insights and messaging for C-suite decision-makers.
- Strategic communications: Partner with Strategy and Comms to deliver large-scale support (e.g., Firmwide Investor Day, Operating Committee meetings, Board reviews, Offsites).
- OKR & Outcomes delivery: Assist in executing Outcomes & Key Results (OKRs), offering the big-picture perspective needed to refine strategic direction for senior leadership.
- Stakeholder engagement: Drive and support communications and HR engagement strategies, ensuring alignment and clarity around D&PS initiatives.
- Data-driven insights: Deliver ad-hoc analytical reporting to shape data-backed decisions on strategic focus areas.
- Storytelling for impact: Simplify and contextualise key messages, ensuring executive and broader audiences fully grasp D&PS’s initiatives and achievements.
- Leadership engagement: Support bi-annual Global Townhalls and bi-monthly MD meetings, ensuring alignment between strategic direction and operational execution.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in multi-disciplinary teams, with a holistic awareness of processes and systems—a meticulous, detail-oriented focus is essential.
- Passion for outcome-driven planning and data-routed decision-making.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to navigate relationships across teams, globally.
- The ability to craft and present executive messaging (MD/OC-level)** using intermediate-to-advanced proficiency** in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with key business metrics & strategic objectives—collaborating with leaders to align them with operational demands.
- Proven track record of working efficiently across stakeholder-driven infrastructures, adept at balancing priorities and juggling multiple responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Experience simplifying complex strategic messages for decision-makers.
- Analytical tools: Dashboard- and report-building (ideally linked to OKR frameworks).
- Background in Strategy/Management Consulting—valuable for rapid alignment and expansion of ideas.
