Portfolio Office Administrator – Digital Services Team

Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT) - Manchester

We are seeking a motivated and organised Portfolio Office Administrator to join our Digital Services Team at Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT). This is a busy and rewarding role that will place you at the heart of transformational projects supporting our Digital Strategy and wider organisational aspirations.


About the Role

This position is an exceptional opportunity for someone with delivery focus, drive, and enthusiasm. You will be integral to change initiatives, service improvements, and defined projects aligned with business and digital priorities.

As part of a growth-oriented, collaborative team, you will develop your skills in business change, project/programme delivery, digital transformation, and stakeholder engagement. Strong organisational, technical, and communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on executing digital strategies, including service improvements and projects, to deliver measurable outcomes
  • Act as a liaison between technology, clinical, and operational teams
  • Assist in stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment and clarity on digital initiatives
  • Maintain project documentation, logs, and portfolio dashboards to support decision-making
  • Leverage advanced IT and digital tools to streamline workflows and enhance service delivery
  • Contribute to business modelling and change implementation, ensuring effective roll-out
  • Partner with the team to prepare reports, presentations, and briefings for leadership and end-users
  • Support data analysis and performance tracking to evaluate change impact

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in office administration, project coordination, or digital/workstream engagement in a dynamic organisation
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and effectively
  • Advanced technical proficiency – including Microsoft Office (esp. Excel, PowerPoint), databases, and digital workflow tools
  • Clear verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-specialist stakeholders
  • Proactive mindset, with a focus on outcomes and problem-solving
  • Comfort in a collaborative, fast-paced setting with demanding deadlines
  • Understanding of NHS processes, change methodology, or technology-driven transformation is advantageous
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
