Digital Press Operator & Print Finisher

Digital Press Operator & Print Finisher – £30,000-£36,000 DOE (13.50-16.50 Per Hour) – Enfield

About the Role

Are you experienced in digital print production and enjoy seeing high-quality work come to life? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

4UK Group is a fast-growing and innovative print and creative production company delivering high-quality digital print, large format, branded merchandise, fulfilment, and marketing solutions for some of the UK’s leading brands.

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Level 1 HP Indigo 7900 Press Operator & Print Finisher to join our production team in Enfield.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with modern print technology, thrives under deadlines, and enjoys being part of a supportive team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate the HP Indigo 7900 Digital Press
  • Monitor print quality and colour consistency throughout production
  • Carry out Level 1 maintenance and cleaning
  • Resolve minor press and workflow issues
  • Manage substrates, consumables, and print queues efficiently
  • Complete print finishing duties including:
    • Guillotining
    • Folding
    • Laminating
    • Creasing
    • PUR Binding
    • Wiro Binding
    • Booklet making
    • Drilling
    • Digital die-cutting
    • Packing and dispatch
  • Follow job sheets and production instructions carefully
  • Support production deadlines across the wider team
  • Keep the production area clean, organised, and safe

The Person

Essential:

  • Previous experience within a commercial print environment
  • HP Indigo Level 1 certification preferred
  • Strong colour awareness and attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving and mechanical skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Beneficial:

  • Experience with HP Production Pro, DFE workflows, or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of digital pre-press processes
