Digital Print Finisher (Biggin Hill)
Print Production Team Member
Role Overview
The post holder will be responsible for accurately producing work in line with job specifications. Key duties include:
- Handling day-to-day finishing within the department
- Upholding company quality control practices
- Ensuring the highest quality of work is produced
You will operate a range of machinery, including:
- Jet Lam 2000 laminator
- Pro62 laminator
- Miller Weld Master
- Fiab HF Welder
- Fotoba 3.2 & 1.6 cutting machines
- Kongsberg XP cutting machines
Primary Objectives
Maintain meticulous attention to production schedules and ensure correct execution, including:
- Processing work to the exact specifications of the job sheets
- Ensuring the appropriate materials are used
- Managing work collection and processing, including:
- Laminating (various media)
- Edge wrapping and mounting substrates
- Welding substrates using Kedar
- Cutting materials via Fotoba
- Stitching silicone edging to graphics
- Performing precision tasks such as:
- Reading CAD laydowns
- Checking dimensions on Kongsberg XP machines
- Undertaking quality control against specs and documentation
- Sustaining workflow productivity, including:
- Conducting minor problem-solving
- Reporting issues to management
- Maintaining machinery as per manufacturer recommendations
- Ensuring cleanliness of workspaces and equipment
- Maximising workflow efficiency

- Preferred but not mandatory: Experience with I-cut/XP machines
