Print Digital Finisher
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Print Digital Finisher to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing high-quality finishing work on digitally printed materials, ensuring all jobs meet customer specifications and quality standards. The role requires experience operating finishing equipment, particularly Futoba cutting machines, as well as mounting and laminating a wide range of printed products.
Primary Objectives
- Operate Futoba cutting machines accurately and efficiently to cut printed materials to specification.
- Carry out mounting and laminating of prints using a variety of substrates and laminates.
- Prepare and finish printed products including posters, banners, signage, exhibition graphics, and point-of-sale materials.
- Check finished work for quality, accuracy, and consistency before dispatch.
- Read and interpret job tickets and production instructions.
- Ensure all finishing work is completed within production deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of finishing equipment.
- Monitor stock levels of laminates, mounting boards, and finishing materials.
- Package completed jobs safely for delivery or collection.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
- Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
- Work closely with the print production team to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a print finishing environment.
- Proven experience operating Futoba cutting equipment.
- Experience with mounting and laminating large-format and digital print products.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience using other print finishing equipment, such as Kongsberg Cad table.
- Knowledge of large-format printing processes.
- Forklift licence (if applicable).
- Experience within a busy commercial print or signage environment.
