Print Production Technician
Role Overview
The post holder will be responsible for accurately producing print work in line with job specifications.
Primary Objectives
- Collect and process work sent from the repro/print department
- Ensure work is sized correctly and the appropriate correction curve is applied
- Perform QC to job requirements
- Maintain and process work as per the production schedule
- Notify the supervisor/manager when a major issue arises
- Problem-solve minor issues to maintain smooth workflow
- Maintain machinery according to manufacturers’ recommendations
- Keep the work area and machinery clean and tidy
- Select the right media profile and rip the job for printing (training provided if needed)

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Thorough understanding of print production practices and processes
- Experience with:
- HP Flatbeds (preferable but not essential)
- Agfa printers
- Durst presses
- Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems
- Operational experience in a print production environment
- Attention to detail with a proven track record
- Reliable, trustworthy, and conscientious
- Flexible and effective as a team player

Shift Pattern
Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 15:30
