Digital Print & Finishing Plant Operator

Location: Farlington, near Portsmouth
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm

A3M Designs is a well-established and growing print company based in Farlington, proudly celebrating 40 years in the print industry. As part of our continued investment and year-on-year growth, we've launched a brand-new digital print department featuring a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C10500S alongside a full suite of Morgana finishing equipment.

We're looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Digital Print & Finishing Plant Operator to play a key role in this exciting new chapter.

This is far more than an operator position. We're looking for someone who wants to help shape and build a department around them, becoming an integral part of our future growth and succession plans. As the department expands, there will be genuine opportunities to develop, take on greater responsibility, and progress your career within the business.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our digital print and finishing equipment, ensuring work is produced to the highest quality standards, on time and with exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Operating our Konica Minolta AccurioPress C10500S digital press.
  • Producing high-quality printed work across a wide variety of applications.
  • Operating Morgana finishing equipment including folding, creasing, trimming, and booklet making.
  • Preparing artwork for print where required and carrying out pre-flight checks.
  • Monitoring quality throughout production.
  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean, organised working environment.
  • Working closely with colleagues to deliver outstanding customer service and meet production deadlines.
  • Assisting in the ongoing development and growth of the digital print department.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience operating digital print and finishing equipment (Konica Minolta experience would be an advantage but isn't essential).
  • Takes pride in producing high-quality work.
  • Is organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple jobs.
  • Has excellent attention to detail.
  • Enjoys working as part of a friendly, supportive team.
  • Is proactive, positive, and keen to contribute ideas.
  • Wants to build a long-term career with a growing business.
