Role Description
The Digital Printer/Finisher is a full-time, on-site role based in Hemel Hempstead. This role involves:
- Operating and maintaining digital printers and inkjet equipment.
- Monitoring print jobs for quality.
- Managing print production workflows from setup to completion.
Day-to-day tasks include:
- Finishing and bindery work such as cutting, laminating, folding, and binding.
- Troubleshooting minor printer issues and performing routine maintenance.

The Digital Printer/Finisher will collaborate with the team to meet deadlines, follow job specifications, and ensure that all printed materials match quality standards. The role also includes:

- Keeping the work area organized.
- Handling materials safely.
- Supporting continuous improvements in print processes.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Print Production and Printing, with experience managing multiple print jobs and maintaining consistent quality.
- Hands-on experience with Inkjet and other digital printing equipment, including basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
- Proficiency in Bindery and finishing processes such as cutting, laminating, folding, and binding printed materials.
- Ability to provide Printer Support, including setup, calibration, and minor repairs to keep equipment running efficiently.
- Attention to detail, good time management, and the ability to follow technical instructions and job tickets accurately.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting print materials as needed.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with colleagues and meet customer deadlines.
- Previous experience in digital print or a similar print production environment is required.
