Line of Service Advisory Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Technology Strategy Management Level Senior Associate Job Description & Summary About the role: Are you ready to play a key role in delivering digital procurement transformations powered by technology and AI? PwC’s Digital Procurement team supports global organisations to modernise their Source-to-Pay landscape through innovative, tech-enabled solutions. As a Senior Associate, you will contribute to the design, build and implementation of digital procurement programmes, working within multi-disciplinary teams on solution engineering, workflow design, system configuration and testing. You will collaborate closely with senior colleagues and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes, while supporting junior team members in a collaborative environment. This role can be based in London, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Belfast. What your days will look like: Support the delivery of large-scale, end-to-end S2P technology transformation programmes, with exposure across the full procurement lifecycle Play a role in leading specific components of implementation such as solution design, build/configuration, testing and deployment, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery Deliver the design, configuration and implementation of leading procurement and contracting platforms, including system integrations with ERP and adjacent platforms, working with technical teams to ensure seamless data and process flows Support the design and implementation of future-state digital procurement processes and operating models. Contribute to technology selection and roadmap development, providing input based on delivery experience and system knowledge Support the design and implementation of AI-enabled workflows, automation solutions and intelligent agents within procurement processes Contribute to the identification and development of AI / GenAI use cases, particularly across P2P and operational procurement activities Stay up to date with emerging AI, automation and digital procurement technologies and bring innovative ideas into client engagements Coach and support junior team members, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team Work closely with Managers and Senior Managers to manage risks, issues and dependencies across programmes Support client workshops, design sessions and testing activities, acting as a key point of contact for delivery topics This role is for you if: Demonstrable experience in procurement transformation, digital procurement or S2P consulting Strong technical background (e.g. computer science, engineering, data science, or similar) or equivalent hands-on experience Experience in system configuration, solution design and workflow automation within procurement or enterprise platforms, including an understanding of system integrations, APIs and data flows across enterprise systems (e.g. ERP, Finance systems) Experience working with leading procurement and orchestration platforms (e.g. Coupa, SAP Ariba, Agiloft, Icertis, Zip, Oro etc.) Experience supporting or delivering technology-enabled procurement transformations (design through to implementation) Experience with data analysis, scripting or programming (e.g. R, SQL, Python or similar) is highly desirable, as well as experience with data visualization platforms including Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools Understanding of AI-enabled workflows, orchestration tools or automation concepts is desirable Interest in applying AI and automation to real-world procurement and operational challenges Strong client-facing experience with excellent stakeholder management Willingness to travel based on client needs What you’ll receive from us: No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions.
