Digital Product Management Trainer
About the Role
Location: Home based, occasional travel
Your Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Apprenticeship Trainer to deliver engaging and career-focused training across Digital Product Management standards. This role is ideal for a professional with hands-on experience in DPM or someone experienced in product management who is committed to guiding apprentices through real-world application, skill development, and achieving their qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging training workshops and align with apprenticeship standards, such as:
- Level 4 Digital Product Manager (e.g., emerging standards or internal curriculum) [FB1.1]
Topics Covered:
Teach core topics including:
- Agile and Scrum frameworks
- Requirements gathering, stakeholder mapping and gap analysis
- Product lifecycle, road-mapping, MVP definition and backlog management
- User research, personas, journey mapping and data-driven product decisions
- Business process modelling and use cases
- Commercial awareness [FB2.1] and value-based prioritisation
Requirements
Essential:
Your Experience:
- Proven hands-on experience in Digital Product Management
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and lean product development
- Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to translate real-world experience into impactful learning
- Knowledge and understanding of Apprenticeships [FB3.1]

Desirable:
- Formal teaching or training qualification or willingness to work towards one
- Ability to deliver and accredit the IC Agile Product Management Certificate [FB4.1]
- Experience of teaching in apprenticeships
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Trello, Collaboard or Aha!
