This is a new role and a significant opportunity to shape and deliver Greene King’s Marketing Technology (MarTech) product strategy. As Product Owner for MarTech, you will be responsible for defining, owning and delivering the roadmap for key marketing platforms, with a particular focus on a content marketing platform and workflow management capabilities that support end-to-end campaign delivery.
You will work closely with Creative, Marketing, Digital, Technology and external partners to ensure our MarTech tools enable efficient content creation, approval, distribution and optimisation at scale. The role will be accountable for translating business and marketing needs into clear product requirements and prioritised backlogs that deliver measurable value.
This position sits within Greene King’s growing digital product function and will play a critical role in its continued maturity. The Product Owner will lead the development and optimisation of our Content Marketing Platform, ensuring integrating effectively with our portfolio, and align to agreed strategic outcomes. Ownership of the product vision, roadmap, and ongoing performance will be central to the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development of the Martech programme across our content marketing platform and other digital products
- Own and manage the product backlog, including requirements, definition and refinement of user stories, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies
- Translate high-level product roadmap into achievable product backlog items across multiple digital products
- Provide insight for defining and planning the overall Product Roadmap based on specialised knowledge in your area
- Deliver new features and enhancements that support business and user needs
- Drive performance of your product KPIs and test and optimise
- Collaborate and engage stakeholders across different business areas
- Use data and customer insight to inform the decision-making process
- Work closely with external partners to ensure the best possible outcomes and solutions
- Help educate and embed product methodology within the business
- To be the voice of the customer for the MarTech experience within the business

Qualifications
- Experience working within an agile, scrum environment in digital product development
- Experience writing detailed User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, etc.
- Experience working with and developing content marketing technologies, ideally in a retail, hospitality, leisure, travel, or equivalent environment.
- Exceptional business analysis skills, able to analyse and map complex business and systems processes and develop effective solutions to customer, business and technical challenges.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, able to develop trusted working relationships across business boundaries
- Strong communications and influencing skills, able to analyse and communicate technical concepts to create practical solutions and influence decisions
- Experience with managing external/3rd party suppliers
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
- To be able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively to the wider business
- An intellectual approach and ability to quickly grasp concepts and solve complex problems
