Digital Product Owner

A-Gas is a global leader in the supply and lifecycle management of refrigerants and gases. As Digital PO at A-Gas, you will get the opportunity to become the voice of our customers and to guide development teams in building software capabilities with the highest business and customer impact. You will represent business needs and priorities, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, and incorporating feedback from business stakeholders to guide continuous product improvement

Responsibilities Develop a deep understanding of business goals and processes to inform product priorities and improvement recommendations. Develop strong relationships and regularly communicate with product stakeholders and customers to shape the product strategy and surface prioritized needs. Establish product roadmaps and release plans that satisfy requirements and achieve business outcomes. Act as the voice of the customer to guide all stages of software development, including user story development, sprint planning, and prioritization of the product backlog. Prioritises product requirements and owns the product backlog. Coordinates trials and product launches and supports communications and training. Anticipates changes in customer/user needs; adapts products and creates product retirement and transition plans. Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, story refinements, and team retrospectives; ensure the team has a clear understanding of priorities and next steps. Analyse feedback from sprint reviews, and other data such as end-user feedback and operational metrics to identify and understand product needs. Research suppliers and markets, and maintains a broad understanding of the sector and wider IT and digital developments. Define, track, and communicate relevant KPIs for the product to measure performance and contribution to business goals and strategy Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications Educated to degree level or equivalent and Project Management training like Scrum, Prince2, or Six Sigma (Green belt). Proficiency with Agile methodologies, object-oriented design, and service-oriented design Experienced in Strategic planning, developing technical and business product roadmaps, and demonstrable competence in a product-based environment. Capability to foster strategic relations both internal and external, and to manage large-scale multi-phase implementation, e.g. either systems projects or international development projects or business development or business transformation projects
