Join Millbank
At Millbank, we're building trust digitally.
We help councils and public sector organisations transform the way they communicate and engage with the people they serve.
By combining digital strategy, creative storytelling, social media, video production and audience insight, we help our clients build stronger relationships with residents, increase trust and deliver more meaningful public engagement.
Our work supports ambitious councils, NHS organisations and government bodies across the UK to communicate with greater clarity, confidence and impact in a digital-first world.
We're growing quickly and are looking for an exceptional Digital Project Manager to help us deliver outstanding work for our clients while supporting the continued growth of our business.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving, ambitious agency where you'll be trusted with real responsibility from day one.
The role
As our Digital Project Manager, you'll play a central role in the business.
Working closely with our COO and senior leadership team, you'll coordinate projects, manage client relationships and ensure our work is delivered to an exceptional standard.
We're not looking for someone to simply manage projects. We're looking for someone who wants to own them.
No two days are the same. One week you might be planning the launch of a council communications campaign, coordinating video production, organising client workshops and preparing project reports. The next, you'll be managing creative approvals, coordinating content delivery or supporting the rollout of a major public engagement programme.
You'll be someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes genuine pride in delivering outstanding work.
What you'll do
You'll be responsible for:
- Managing multiple client projects from planning through to delivery.
- Coordinating work across our creative, digital and production teams.
- Acting as a trusted day-to-day contact for clients.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and partners.
- Developing project plans, timelines and delivery schedules.
- Monitoring budgets, milestones, risks and deadlines.
- Organising meetings, workshops and client presentations.
- Preparing project documentation, reports and status updates.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to an exceptional standard.
- Supporting our COO and leadership team with business planning and operational priorities.
- Continuously improving internal processes as the business grows.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
