Senior Project Information Manager / BIM Project Manager – Energy Transmission & Distribution

About the Role

Work with us. Change the world.

At AECOM, we shape the future of the Energy Industry by delivering impactful infrastructure solutions. Join our Energy team—covering Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Renewables, Nuclear decommissioning, and digital transformation projects—and help drive innovation across major programmes like the National Grid Great Grid Upgrade.

We’re looking for experienced Information Management experts with advanced skills to:

  • Lead ISO 19650 information management frameworks
  • Shape BIM/CAD delivery processes
  • Advise on programme-level data and interface management
  • Drive digital transformation for major infrastructure projects

This role offers the opportunity to grow, lead, and leave a legacy in a dynamic, collaborative environment where technology meets real-world impact.

Responsibilities

Your work will span three tracks, depending on placement:

1. Information Management Track

  • Develop and enforce ISO 19650 documentation (EIR, BEP, MIDP, TIDP)
  • Oversee Common Data Environment (CDE) systems (Autodesk ACC, SharePoint)
  • Align information exchange processes across projects
  • Define BIM Execution Plans and Master Information Delivery Plans
  • Assess delivery team capacity for information delivery
  • Manage COBie, IFC standards, and data exchange protocols

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
