Digital Services Senior Network Engineer - Band 6
Senior Field Engineer (Network Infrastructure & Firewall Refresh)
Location: Across Lincolnshire (including Lincoln Hospital, Pilgrim Hospital, and Grantham Hospital) Employer: Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG)
There is recruitment for an exciting role within the Digital Services team’s Infrastructure Group, focusing on delivering edge network and firewall infrastructure refreshes across Lincolnshire’s community sites.

About the Role
This position demands strong field engineering skills, confidence in troubleshooting technical challenges, and the ability to liaise with third parties when required. Strong documentation and record-keeping are essential, and the role carries high professional standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Traverse Lincolnshire community sites to replace and install network hardware
- Ensure all software and clinical applications function correctly post-install
- Provide mentorship and hands-on support to delivery technicians

Grantham and District Hospital
- Covers the Grantham area and neighbouring communities.
- Provides ambulatory paediatric and A&E services.
