As our industry continues to develop, so do we! We are now looking for a Digital Solution Engineer to help optimise our operational performance within jacking and monopile installation.

What will you do?

As our new Digital Solution Engineer, you will act as a bridge between offshore operational teams and onshore engineering by translating operational data into actionable insights. Furthermore, you will work hand-in-hand with the BI team regarding the data platform, data validation, and the development of dashboards.

Your Main Tasks Include

  • Analyse operational data from vessel systems, jacking logs, geotechnical data, and installation records.
  • Develop dashboards and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Python-based dashboards, or similar) based on Cadeler’s data platform.
  • Identify trends, deviations, and performance improvement opportunities based on installation and jacking data.
  • Support root cause analysis of operational events using data-driven methodologies.
  • Identify, propose, and refine engineering performance metrics in collaboration with the Operational Excellence and BI teams.
  • Identify opportunities for performance optimization, cost reduction, and risk mitigation using data analytics.
  • Engage with clients when data-driven reporting or performance analysis is required.

We are looking for someone with a strong analytical and structured mindset, who possesses strong communication skills and is driven by curiosity and motivation to improve operations through digital solutions.

We think you will be a good match if you:

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience
  • Academic degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, geotechnical, marine) or data science with strong technical/engineering exposure.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Python, Power BI, SQL, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake or equivalent technologies).
  • Experience in offshore wind, marine operations, heavy lift, or jack-up vessels is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Experience working with large datasets and operational performance analysis.
