Role Summary
The Digital Systems Implementation Officer plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the Fit for Mission programme by implementing and embedding approved digital systems that enable churches and Support Service teams to work more efficiently, collaboratively and sustainably. Working closely with programme colleagues and local church teams, the postholder will configure and deploy approved digital systems, including ChurchSuite and Microsoft 365, support the migration of information from legacy platforms, deliver engaging user training and develop practical guidance to ensure staff and volunteers have the confidence and knowledge to use new systems effectively. The role also supports churches through the transition to appropriate third party IT support providers, ensuring systems are fully handed over and local teams are equipped to manage them confidently. The role combines technical implementation with user enablement, helping churches adopt new ways of working while ensuring systems are configured securely, consistently and in line with diocesan standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
