Digital & Systems Lead

The Digital & Systems Lead sits within the Group Risk Office as part of the Group Health & Safety team, reporting to the Health & Safety Manager – Enablement & Assurance.

The role supports the continued development of a modern, efficient and insight-led H&S function by improving how systems, workflows and data operate day-to-day within a fast-paced operational environment with changing priorities and high service demand.

This role will help strengthen workflow discipline, improve management information and reporting, and develop a more efficient, self-service and risk-focused H&S service. It is a key role in helping the function operate effectively at reduced scale, while improving the user experience, consistency and efficiency of how support is accessed and delivered.

Typical outputs and impact include improved visibility of H&S activity and service demand through reliable management information and reporting, more efficient and consistent access to support through digital workflows and self-service tools, and streamlined processes that reduce manual effort and strengthen operational oversight. The role will help enable a more connected, insight-led and scalable H&S function, improving both user experience and the overall effectiveness of service delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of systems, workflows and triage processes across the Health & Safety function, ensuring they are effective, efficient and user-friendly.
  • Build and manage a structured H&S workflow and triage approach, ensuring requests are captured, prioritised, routed appropriately and tracked through to completion.
  • Develop and enhance self-service methods that enable colleagues to access H&S information, guidance and support more easily and consistently at the point of need.
  • Improve the quality, structure and visibility of H&S data, reporting and management information, supporting better operational insight and decision-making.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to simplify processes, reduce duplication and manual effort, and improve the overall efficiency and responsiveness of the service.
  • Support the integration of systems, processes and data to create a more joined-up and consistent approach across H&S activity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
